I <3 Gmail

Not only did Gmail save me from days of bordem at my old job but it comes up with the greatest shit! My old work pretty much banded all access to the "fun" sites like Myspace, Facebook, gossip blogs and any chats (which included AIM - the source of my outside world!) My friend Eileen told me about Gmail and how you can chat on it with other "G's". Luckily, my job didn't catch this site since it was just considered an "email website". Little did they know...jerkoff's. Can you imagine how much advertising I was doing for Gmail just to convince my friends to sign up so I won't be a loner at work?

Anyways, Gmail is an all-in-one stop for internet usage. From emails, chat, statuses, picture sharing and new updates...you can't really get bored with it. I was going thru my settings and I found "New Stuff in Labs". It's pretty much different applications you can install in your gmail account and one that I found super interesting was the "Undo Send". Meaning you can pretty much take back what you sent if you you're still in your grace period. I remember reading somewhere that one reason the Googler thought of this special feature is because sometimes people get on their SmartPhones, send a "drunk email" and then oops....regret it! Hmmm, are you a victim of that? I'm sure we all are but hey, Gmail is 3 steps ahead of us and is willing to save our asses from embarrassment. Thanks Google, good lookin'.

PS. I've been to Google Headquarters and it's a dream come true. Everything and anything you can possibly want and think of is at Google!!

Reasons I Can't Blog

As much as I want to do posts, I can't. So much has happened these past two weeks that I can't even remember the events anymore. So, why can't I keep up with this blog?...

1. I don't have my "own" computer. We have a family laptop that my dad uses all freakin' day. And our desk top? Yeah right, that piece of crap is 100 years old and counting.

Solution: Buy the MacBook I've been wanting for-everrr. Maybe my tax return will solve this.

2. I'm never home. I find myself anywhere BUT home. If it's not my girls' Joanne/Judy's place, then I'm eating somewhere making myself fat. Or, I'm simply just in my car, trying to get from point A to point B to point C.

Solution: Easy, stay home. But I do have a BlackBerry (which is what I'm using at this moment) so I can do posts via BlackBerry since I'm always on my phone.

3. My work has no internet access. Ok, we do but my department doesn't! All I have access to are Fox News, and CBS News and all other work related sites. I guess that's a good thing cuz I definitely get my work done. I just notice that with all other blogs I follow are during the hours of 8-5 and since our economy is in such a rut, seems like everyone has time to blog about their non-sense.

Solution: Uhhh, there ain't shit I can do about this one. I got no clout over here. Butttt, again, Via BlackBerry!!

4. And lastly, I just don't have anything "cool" to blog about.

Solution: None. That sounds like the reader's problem, not mine. Ha, if you don't think its cool...better click somewhere else!
